Ice Ice Baby

20 years of FCF MOPS- It started here in Flag in 1990

Is it Vanilla Ice? YES!! At MOPS this past Thur

we celebrated 20 years of MOPS here in Flagstaff.

My dear husband was such a good sport and was

Vanilla Ice for us and it was awesome.

A lot of the ladies dressed up and made the day a lot of

fun. I was in 8th grade in 1990. It was fun to go

back and look as pictures and remember

what you looked like and what you wore.

These ladies were the first 5 moms who started MOPS.
It was so great to hear the story and all the wonderful

advice we got of taking care of our preschoolers.

Freeman Farms

Yesterday we went to Freeman Farms in Chino Valley

which is by Prescott. I was searching for pumpkin crafts

and game across their website. http://www.azpumpkins.com/

Our friend Martina and her two kids joined us and
Shane's sister Holly and GGB (Great Grandma Barbara) met
us there.

Corn Maze (the corn was still growing) The kids

loved running through it.

Merry Go Round (I think this was Elise's favorite) She

just laughed and smiled the whole time she was on it.

And of course the Pumpkin Patch. An actual one! Here

in Arizona it can be hard to find this. In Flagstaff they

put pumpkins in a parking lot with a few hay bails

and call it a pumpkin patch, so it was fun to see

all the pumpkins growing still on the vine.

We had a fabulous day!

Cookies!!!

Today we went our friends house to make cookies.

The kids had a lot of fun decorating (really making a mess)

It was nice to get together with some friends and

do something fun. She had these cute smocks and

I think I am going to try to make some since I

am wanting to learn how to sew more than just drapes.

Fall decor

So Fall is in the air and I wanted to decorate

my front porch. I was on another blog and

saw this cute idea to monogram your pumpkins.

I thought "I am going to do that" so today I did.

You get scrapbook paper and cut out the letters

and get mod podge and put in on the back and on

the front of the letter.
