The end of soccer....

This past Sat. was Christian's last soccer game. It has been so much

fun to watch him play. We were a little sad that the season is over.

He has become quite the soccer player and I am guessing you

will see many more years of soccer pictures.

Here is the whole team.

We went to Peter Piper after the game and celebrated. All the

kids got trophy's with their names on them.

Next year this little girl will be playing soccer too!

The Pyrite Posse

So have I ever told you how much I love our neighborhood.  Well I do!

This enitre summer the kids have been riding bikes. Just between 5 houses

there are 12 kids.  We decided to give them a name "The Pyrite Posse".

I made some shirt stencils with my Silhouette machine and here they are.

Here are all the girls, it is about time we had some pink on the block.

Our youngest of the posse. By next summer she

will be one some sort of contraption with wheels.

Elise's 1st day of Preschool

It was an exciting day at the Welker house this morning.

Elise gets to go to preschool 2 days a week. Today was her first day!

The great thing is she gets to go to the same school as her brother.

She just loves him so much.

This is her wonderful teacher Mrs. Mueller (the kids call her Miss Hannah)

 

First Day of School

Today is Christian's first day of Begindergarten.  Mt.Calvary Lutheran

School has a program called Begindergarten. We decided to "red shirt"

Christian and wait one more year for Kindergarten. I didn't realize

picking out a school and when to send him would be stressful, but it was.

After much prayer and discussion with Shane we feel that this is

going to be the best thing for him. He is so excited to be back at school

and I think it is going to be a wonderful year.

Saying bye to his little sis. She will miss her brother everyday in the morning,

but it will give us time to be together too. She will be off to preschool 2 days a week.

Her first day starts Wednesday.

Get your motor running......

 We spent the weekend in Cortez, Shane was in a golf tournament

and we stayed with my dad and Cheryl.

My daddy! It was so great to stay with them for the weekend. My dad and I

have a wonderful relationship, he is my biggest fan! Love you Dad

5 months old and eating rice cereal for the first time

Winter Park- Colorado

 This summer we drove up to Winter Park- for a family get together.

Shane wasn't able to make it so that is why you don't see him

in any pictures. We had such a great time! I hope to make

it back up there again in the near future.

Trip to Colorado

This is part of our trip to Colorado. We stayed up at the West Fork

with our friends and family.

This year my sister and her family were able to come. Lily is 4 and

her step-daughter. and then they just had their first baby: Preston.

Bella and him are only 3 months apart.

Aka: Aunt B and her kids will call me Auntie M

 Elise loves the horses. She wanted to go everyday. Maybe she

will be a little cowgirl.
