Grandpa and Grandma Baker...come for a visit

My Dad and Cheryl came down the Friday after Thanksgiving to come

and hang our with their grandkids for the weekend.

They brought the movie Brave: for the kids and we watched that Friday

night. Saturday morning we got up and went to Christian's hockey

practice and then out to lunch.  We took some pictures for our

Christmas card. You will have to wait to see those.

 

Then Christian was playing with all the Suzuki Violin Students at Little

America: for their Christmas Lighting.

Looking pretty handsome if I do say so myself.

It was a fun evening. The kids got to decorate gingerbread cookies

and see all the lights.

Thanksgiving Day

We spent this Thanksgiving with Shane's family down in Prescott.

The weather was perfect and we were able to all eat on the back porch.

I was in charge of the sweet potatoes so I made two versions.

I should have taken a picture of them, they were both scrumptious.

Here is 6 generations. That is almost unheard of. So for Ryland his Great

Great Great Grandma is still alive. She is 94 and doing well and still

able to travel, she lives in Phoenix.

Elise's Thanksgiving Party at School

Last week I helped in Elise's classroom with their Thanksgiving Party.

She has loved pre-school and is such a good little student.

Bella got to hang out with us too. When I was helping the

kids make their turkey t-shirts Miss Hannah had no problem

holding onto little Bella.

I was cracking up when it was snack time. Look at Elise's plate of food,

it looks like she hasnt eaten in days!

Grandma and Papa come for a visit

Last weekend Shane and I got to go to a wedding (all by ourselves).

It was so awesome!. My mom and Kevin came to our house to

watch the kids. It was the first time I left Bella and everything

went great. It was a wonderful break for us and a great time

for the kids to hang out with them.

They were all tuckered out by the end of the week.

 

Bella is 8 months old

WOW~  Little Red is 8 months old. She is doing great.

On her way to crawling, which I am OK if it is a little longer

becuase once she figures that out she will be on the go.

She is not to vocal, she is an observer. Christian and Elise just love

on her all the time and you can tell that she loves them to.

I am hoping the red hair stays. So far it looks like it is going to.

 

Womens Half Marathon

Yesterday I ran 13.1 miles. A half marathon.

My friends Lisa and Gina ran too and I made these shirts

for us to wear.

This was Gina's first race and she rocked. We ran the first 11 miles together.
