Easter Day/ Resurrection Day

Easter morning we woke up and had a little

egg hunt with bug eggs in the house. They had

little bug catchers to find the eggs. They were so cute

to watch. Everytime Elise found an egg she would yell out.

We then headed to our church for Sunday service.

Then our friends had us over for brunch and an egg

hunt. They live on 5 acres and it was the perfect

place to have the kids run around and look for eggs.

We are all candied out for awhile!

They both new exactly what to do.

It was a great weekend!!

Elise's 2nd Birthday!!

Our little girl will turn 2 years old April 26th. We celebrated

her birthday last Sat. It was a lot of fun.

It was so cute having her hit the pinata.

Our little spitfire, she is full of energy, and into everything.

She loves to cuddle with you and give kisses, but when she

wants something her way believe me she will let you know.

This past year has been a blast watching her grow into

her own little person. We love you Elise!

The kids had a sack race, they had a lot of fun racing.

Yippee! Finally a BBQ outside...

This past weekend we got together with our friends

and had a little BBQ. It was wonderful to sit outside

and we are ready for the weather to continue to

get warmer. I love summertime!

Sewing some summer shrits for Elise

I have been sewing over the last few

months and have found something else

I love doing. It has been so fun making

Elise clothes. I just hope when she

looks back at these pictures she feels

the same way.

Some new family photos

My friend Amy came out with her family to visit. It was so

great to see her, she used to live 2 houses down from me

and I miss her. She happens to be a fabulous photographer,

so she took some family photos of us. This is a sneak

peek of just a few of them.

These two little kids are the joy of our lives.

I can't believe it. I think he could be in

a Gap commercial.

Our little spitfire, she turns 2 this month.

She is the messmaker of the family and

I wouldn't want it any other way.

Lake Havasu Half Marathon

Shane and I ran a half marathon today in Lake Havasu.

It was supposed to rain in the morning but

turned out to be a great day to run.

This is my second half marathon and I beat my

previous time by 20 min. I was very sore and tired

after the race but so proud of myself for doing it!

Shane did awesome to, before the race he said he wanted

to get in the top 5 and he ended up getting 5th place.

Way to go!!!

Our friend Steve ran the half to, and his wife Sarah and their

little boy Andrew ran the 5K ( he is only 6 and ran the entire 3 miles).

Our friend Nicole and Caleb ran the 5K as well and

we all met afterwards for lunch.
