Little girl is growing up

Elise is 6 months old. Unbelieveable! It is true when people tell you to enjoy them because it goes by way to fast. We went to the doctor today and she weighs 15lbs., 25.5 inches long. She is in the 30 and 40% for weight and height and her head is in the 93%. She has a big noggin. She is starting to sit up with a boppy around her, she eats rice cereal, pears and sweet potatoes. She doesn't sleep through the night and that has been tough. This last week she has been waking up 2 to 3 times at night. You are killing me girl! She is starting to babble and Shane swears she is saying dada!. Christian said mama first so I hope she does say dada. Life is good and we are truly, truly blessed!

Our last day in Colorado

We are heading home today. We went to breakfast

this morning with great grandpa Emery and

grandma Lois. We had a good breakfast. Christian

insisted on going potty, so when went to

the bathroon but he had already went in

his diaper. The funny thing was when we came

out he yells "I went potty". It was a little

embarassing since everyone in the restaurant

turns to looks at us.
The fun of kids, they can always make you smile!

Durango Train Ride

Today we went on the Durango Train, for Charlie Brown

Pumpkin Patch!

Grandma Jeanne, Brama, and Papa came with us. It was

a gorgeous day and Christian was super excited to

ride the train.




When we saw Snoopy, Lucy, and Charlie Brown, Christian

went up to them and gave them a hug. It was too cute.

He wasn't scared at all and wanted to stay and give them

high fives and more hugs.




He got a pumpkin sticker on his face and he really liked that.

Then he got to go through a hay maze to go

and pick out his pumpkin. It was are first time

going and we thought that maybe 1.5 there would

be too long, but it ended up being perfect. It

was a lot better than we expected.

We had a great time. The kids were

both so good

Our beginning visit to Colorado.....

We came up to Colorado for the weekend and have

been having a lot of fun. Today we played in the

leaves in my dad's front yard.

Bama and Papa love seeing their grandkids. They
always have a special treat for Christian.

Christian has fun jumping into the leaves.

Again, and again, and again.......

What a little ham

We got to also see my cousin Jason, which was nice. We

live far from eachother so it was great to see him. We

grew up together and are more like brother and sister.

Christian enjoyed having someone else to play with him.

Morning playtime

I was in the kitchen this morning and when I came

into the living room this is what I saw.

It was too cute, seeing them playing together.

I know they are going to be the best of friends.

Elise is starting to sit up pretty good with a little help (the bobby).

She likes a little different view than laying on the floor.

Almost always this is how you will see Elise. Big 'ol smile,

and her cute little chubby cheeks.

Swim lessons

Christian is taking swim lessons from our babysitter

and is really getting good.

He is quite the little fish and it has been a

great way to get some of his energy out.

We will be definetly coming a lot this winter.

Elise and I have been sitting and watching

Christian swim, before long she will be

joining him.

Fall is already over and winter I think is coming....

Well the wind was blowing today and this

leave blew into the garage and I thought

it was just so beautiful and a reminder

of how pretty the fall can be. But since it is on

the ground and not on the tree it made

me realize winter is just around the

corner. We are ready, I hope

everyone else it too!
