My 35th Birthday

Today was my 35th Birthday!  It started off at 10am with
a MOPS summer playdate. Last year I had a water day in my front yard
and everyone wanted to do that again. It was a hit!
There were like 25 kids and at least 15 moms. I lost count.

We then went to dinner to one of my favorite resturants "Outback"
My little man Christian: What a wonderful little boy,
he has such a big heart and is just what a big brother should be.
He has been playing hard
all summer, I don't even want to think
about when the summer ends because we have been having a blast!
My wonderful hubby: He made my birthday so special. He is the love
of my life and I am so thankful for him.
Elise my girl: She is such a character and full of personality.
Little Bella June: She has been such a good baby. She has been sleeping most
nights all the way until morning. She is smiling all the time

Wow 35! I feel pretty good. I am ready to get back in shape after
having a baby. Shane has been great encouragement. My goal is
to run another half marathon in November.
As I reflect on today. I am so thankful for my loving family. I just can't
believe I have 3 beautiful kids and I get to be their mom. I still have
things to work on but they keep me motivated to do so. I am so thankful
to have Jesus in my life, He makes me want to be the best I can be.
I tell Shane often that "I love my life" and I truly mean it. I am so
thankful that he has a job that I am able to stay home with our kids ,
it is the hardest thing I have done and the most rewarding.

 I LOVE YOU !!

Outdoor movie..... in our backyard!

So I have been wanting to set up an
outdoor movie theatre in our backyard
for quite awhile. And we finally made it happen.
Last Christmas my sister-in-law got us this popcorn
maker and it has been in the box since, that was
until last Sat. night.

M&M and Reese's are always a good choice to go with your popcorn.

We invited some neighborhood friends. I got some blackout fabric
from Joann's. Borrowed a porjector from a friend. We had to buy some
speakers for our laptop and BOOM! Outdoor Movie!

We watched MONSTER'S INC. It was awesome. I kept looking up
at the stars and thinking how cool it was that we were just chillin
in our backyard. So you can guess what we are doing next Sat. night!

Our three little cherubs

All of the kids birthdays are close together. Bella is March. Elise is
April and Christians is May. I wanted to get some pictures taken of them
for there 5 and 3 year old birthday and Bella's being 3 months.

So we headed to a house across from the Museum of Northern Arizona
and let the kids roam around and she snapped away.

I couldn't wait to get the pictures back and I absolutely loved how they
turned out.

These pictures were like a flash to the future on them heading off
to college.

I need to save this suitcase and when Elise is heading to
college take another picture of her with it.
She would have the kids close their eyes and then count to three
to help with having them having a more natural look. I love
how she captured them with their eyes shut tight.

Bella June is such a cutie

Elise is starting to really come into her own.
She is finally growing some hair.

What our summer looks like

I love summer time!  I also love that we live in a neighborhood. Growing
up I lived in the country (which has its perks too) however when you are
a little kid nothing is better than when you hear the ice cream truck coming
down your street.

We let the kids pick out what they wanted

We set up our water slide out front all summer on those hot and sunny
days. The kids have a blast and it is always an open invitation for the
other kiddos on the street of come on over.

Looking forward to many days of ice cream and water!

Christian's Preschool Graduation

This year Christian went to an amazing school. Mt. Calvary Christian School
They had the cutest graduation for the kids. They look like little NAU grads.
(since there colors are the same)

His good friends Dennis and Drew

Grandma happened to be visiting so she was able to come
to. She said she wants a picture now with him and then
one when he graduated his school. That will be fun
to see the pictures side by side someday.
Christian is going to stay at this school next year.
After a lot of talking and prayer we have decided to wait
and hold him one more year and not send him to Kindgarten.
They great thing is that they have a program called Begindergarten
and he will be in the Kinder. room and be with the older kids.
So it should be the best of both worlds.

We love you Christian and we are so proud of you!
Love Mom and Dad
