MOPS (Mothers of Pre-schoolers) is a ministry that I am
a part of. They have a convention every year and I really
wanted to go. So us girls did a couple of fundraisers and
made it happen.
Here we are after we just checked into our room. Who
doesn't just love a girls weekend!
The first night we got to here Sara Groves sing and she
has such a beautiful voice. I love how she just tells the stories
of all the songs she sings, it was wonderful.
This is the 5 of us that came from Flagstaff!
The next night was one of my favorite
performers; Mandisa. She rocked the
house and we had such a fun time.
During the whole weekend we also had different break-out
sessions from MOPS related stuff to parenting stuff so
the whole weekend was just awesome. To be ready to come
back refreshed to our families and filled up.
Tony Dungy's (he was the NFL Colts Coach) his wife Lauren
spoke and it was great to hear what she had to say.
The last night was Steven Curtis Chapman. Then his
wife Mary spoke. They have gone through some tough
stuff over the last couple of years. They were so genuine
and honest it was so great to hear. What a really
awesome couple.
It was a fantastic weekend and I can't wait till next year to
come back for the MOPS Convention.
