Myself, the kids and my friend Nicole headed to Colorado
for a weekend getaway.
Elise could not wait to see the horses and ride Whiplash.
She just loves the horses. Here she is giving Whiplash a kiss,
this was one of many.
She rode by herself and loved every minute of it. She even
wanted to go faster so Kevin and my mom jogged beside her
while the horse trotted.
Christian is showing Nicole his tree house and making
funny faces.
We went down by the river to see if we could catch
any fish. Not much activity since the water is pretty low
but the kids still had a good time.
We of course had to have a campfire with our favorite:

And who doesn't love being in a hot tub
One of the rooms had a loft and Christian wanted to sleep
up there all my himself. He did it, I didn't think he would
stay up there but he did. He is just growing up so fast.
