Two weekends ago we headed to Camp Verde to go camping. It was fun to just
get away for the weekend and only be an hour from home. The weather is
a little warmer down there but it wasn't as so sunny as it was supposed to be.
I am so thankful we have the pop-up because it has a heater in it so
we were nice and cozy at night.
We all had a great time just being outside in nature. We went to a campsite
called bullpen which is right by the verde river. There was also a place to hike
and a great trail for the kids to ride their bikes.
It was a great place and we look forward to going back in the summer when the
kids can play in the water.
We had some friends join us and the guys brought down
their dirt bikes. Elise loved Shane taking her for rides.
It won't be long when the kids will have their own, maybe
I need to learn how to ride a dirt bike so I won't be
left at the campsite!!

When did you get the camper? That is perfect...better than a tent, but still roughing it more than a motor home :o). Looks like so much fun!
