A camping we will go

Last weekend we went camping again. The great thing was

it was only 20 min from our house. If you look closely in the

picture you will see Elise in the blue tub, that was our

bathtub for the weekend. It actually worked great!

Grandpa Gene and Grandma Cheryl joined us for the weekend.

It was great camping with them and I hope we can start

tradition and go camping with them at least once a summer.

Can't have a campfire without smores. Thankfully we

were still able to have a campfire. There are has been

a lot of fires in Arizona so there was a possiblity that we

were not going to be able to.

We had created a new smore: The Welker Smore

Graham Crackers, Marshmallows, Nutella and Banana Slices

You have to try it, you will never make it the other way again!

The kids got new sleeping bags, they look ready for bed here.

(Except: Elise was horrible and we didn't get any sleep that night)

The next day: FISHING

We didn't catch any fish but the boys caught plenty

of crawdads. Christian just picks them right up, he is

not even scared one bit. I myself am not to fond of

little creatures.

It was my dad's birthday so we suprised him with an ice cream

cake and sang happy birthday to him. It was a great weekend!
